What You Need

• Plastic sea animals (or laminated picture cards)
• Small coloured baskets or containers
• Colour labels (optional)

How to Do It as an Educator

1. Hide sea animals around the classroom or outdoor area.
2. Invite children to search for the animals.
3. Ask children to identify each animal’s colour.
4. Place each animal into the matching coloured basket.
5. Count how many animals were collected in each colour.
